RESIDÊNCIA AGRÁRIA JOVEM E A DIMENSÃO CULTURAL NA AGROECOLOGIA

The Young Agrarian Residency project in Paraiba counted on the selection of 34 young peoplein the first group (2015-2016) and 24 in the second (2016-2017). The methodological conceptionof the course as researchers is based on participant research, with inspiration in thepedagogy of alternation. In the territories of the students and in their daily lives the collectiveconstruction of identities was affirmed in the actions developed through the centrality given toaxes related to an immersion in elements of culture and leisure. The cultural dimension contributedto the peasant youth to re-signify what they liked to do, to awaken their talents andabilities and to optimize the community through actions that improved the residents’ quality oflife. The main objective of this work was to understand how the proposals made by the Projectwere articulated to the cultural dimension in Community Time.
