The intubating laryngeal mask for maxillo-facial trauma

Summary We report the successful use of the intubating laryngeal mask airway in a patient with maxillo-facial trauma for whom the facemask and laryngoscope were relatively contraindicated and the fibreoptic scope potentially difficult to use.
