ABSTRACT The mapping of networks without support for the Policy of the Elderly Person has been increasingly adopted to overcome the bureaucratic and hierarchical model with the purpose of strengthening the network of attention, yet the mapping of networks also allows identifying gaps in the distribution of services to the elderly population. To map geographically the services directed to the elderly person in the Tirirical Sanitary District of Sao Luis - MA. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive and quantitative study, carried out from November 2016 to June 2017, to all government agencies that provide services to the elderly, as well as Organized Civil Society entities in the Tirirical Sanitary District of Sao Luis - MA. Socio-demographic data and sanitary services were obtained through a secondary database (IBGE / SIAB) and the mapping of services was obtained through a specific questionnaire applied. The data was tabulated in Microsoft Excel, then corrected using Google Earth, georeferenced by the program TerraView, after conversion of the coordinates, the maps were elaborated by the ArcGis 10.1. The District has 12.354 elderly residents, being the fourth largest number of elderly in the city, with prevalence of 60 and 69 years old, female, brown, average income of 1 minimum wage, without sanitation. In the mapping of the network were identified 56 services offered in the District in the areas of health, social assistance, education, public security and organized civil society entities, of 23 are targeted to the elderly and yet fragmented. The mapping of the elderly network in the Tirical Sanitary is fragmented and lacks basic services such as health, public safety and basic sanitation, and the few services do not meet the demand of the elderly residents in the District, worsening the quality of life of this population.
