Projeto residência agroflorestal: experiência de inovação em extensão rural

The agroforestry residency project proposed innovation in the Rondonia rural developmentmodel, complementing the training of professionals in Technical Assistance and Extension toFamily Farming with emphasis on agroecology. Nineteen professionals from different areas ofknowledge were selected, demanded by non-governmental organizations recognized by farmersand traditional communities in the state. The formative process was established throughthe alternance pedagogy integrated in academy time, field time and experience.The residencywas an unprecedented experience for farmers, communities, non-governmental organizations,residents and coordination of the project, adding knowledge about the rural reality of Rondonia,academic training, agroecological practices, incentives and support to family agriculture,management of extension institutions rural and project execution in the state.
