Electrooxidation of phenylhydrazine on carbon electrodes

2001
Electrochemical behavior of phenylhydrazine on glassy carbon and carbon fiber in a neutral aqueous solution is studied with differential voltammetry and potentiostatic oxidation. The fiber surface has a considerable catalytic effect, and the oxidation products depend on the fiber potential. The application of carbon fiber as an electrode material in electrochemical purification of waste water from phenylhydrazine is considered.
