The utility model relates to a non-intruding type motor efficiency on-line detecting device which comprises a sensor unit, a signal collecting and processing unit and a communication unit, wherein the sensor unit is used for converting line current signals and line voltage signals of a motor into weak voltage signals, the signal collecting and processing unit is used for digitizing the voltage signals of the sensor unit, a monitoring result obtained by the operation processing of the digitized voltage signals is transmitted to the communication unit, and the received output data of the signal collecting and processing unit is transmitted to a monitoring computer through a wireless network. The method comprises the steps that: the electrification is initialized, initial data is collected, monitoring parameters of motors are calculated, calculating results of the monitoring parameters are transmitted to a communication circuit board, configuration parameters of the motors are modified, and whether initial data frames are received is judged, if yes, corresponding initial data is collected and is transmitted, and then turns to the initial data collecting step for looping execution. The non-intruding type motor efficiency on-line detecting device can quickly establish a perfect on-line motor state monitoring system, the installation is simple, and the workload needed by installing the monitoring system is reduced.
