The preparation method for the shower gel type alpha-alkenyl sulphonate comprises the following steps: introducing air containing SO3 into mixed monoolefine to carry out sulfonation reaction of olefin to prepare an alpha-alkenyl sulfonic acid mixture; and carrying out hydrolysis reaction onto the alpha-alkenyl sulfonic acid mixture under an alkaline condition, and acidifying by using acid to obtain the shower gel type alpha-alkenyl sulphonate. The method disclosed by the invention is simple in process, and gentle in reaction condition; the prepared shower gel type alpha-alkenyl sulphonate is taken as a base component for being applied to a shower gel formula, and is excellent in application viscosity and foam index.
