Automatic Processing Flow Designed for Ship's AIS Signals

Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a broadcasting automatic reporting system composed of shore-based station, ship-borne station, forwarding station, aids station and airborne station. AIS system has brought the navigation circle into a new digital age, which has produced a large amount of AIS data. Intelligent ship is the future of ship development. The foundation of intelligent ship is data, and the analysis and application of data is the premise of realizing intelligent ship. Large amounts of data are inefficient and error-prone to rely entirely on people for processing. Therefore, the automatic processing process of ais data is studied in this paper, and the automatic processing platform is constructed. The functions of updating AIS data, ship static information, route information and voyage information are realized. The work of this paper satisfies the requirement of visualization, statistics and prediction using AIS data, which makes it possible to realize intelligent ship further.
