Design of a DSP-based linear switched reluctance motor using Repetitive control

2012
In this paper, a Repetitive control (RC) structure of linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) is proposed with DSP control implementation. Repetitive control law uses errors from the last period to adjust the new command fed into a system. Moreover, a low pass zero phase filter (ZPF) is associated with RC to cut high frequencies off the command keeping the system long-time stable. The results show that repetitive control associated with ZPF can substantially reduce position error. The DSP-based position control scheme is implemented and experimental results prove the effectiveness of control design method.
