The method provided by the invention directly enables the gold nanometer particle to grow into the hollow gold nanometer cage in water phase at normal temperature; besides, the process is simple, the reaction is easy to control, and the efficiency is high. Simultaneously, the preparation method has no need of performing post treatment to the product, thereby reducing the use amount of the reagent, reducing the production cost and simplifying the operation steps.
