The invention provides a waterproof terminal drying method and a waterproof terminal, and relates to the technical field of terminals, wherein the drying method is applied to the waterproof terminal which comprises a processor, a heating device, a temperature detecting device and a power supply modulator; the heating device is arranged in a way of corresponding to an exposure device of the waterproof terminal; the temperature detecting device is arranged in a way of corresponding to the heating device. The method comprises the steps that according to a received drying instruction, the processor triggers the temperature detecting device arranged in a way of corresponding to the heating device for detecting the temperature data of the located position, and triggers the power supply modulator to be started so that the power supply modulator provides constant and stable heating voltage for the heating device; the heating device is triggered for heating; the temperature data detected by the temperature detecting device is obtained; heating information is obtained; whether the heating information meets the heating stop conditions or not is determined; if the heating information does not meet the heating stop conditions, the opening and the closing of the power supply modulator are controlled according to the temperature data. The embodiment provided by the invention has the advantage that residual water in the exposed device of the waterproof terminal is dried through the heating device.
