Identification of Salt-tolerance of Transgenic Maize with BcWRKY1 Gene

Thirty-two transgenic maize lines with BcWRKY1 gene were used in this study to identify of salt-tolerance by observing the seedling appearance and the physiology and biochemistry indicator,according to the screened appraised density of salt tolerance.We aimed to create a method of salt tolerance in seedling stage,selected the new maize germplasms of high salt tolerance,and provide germplasmresources for maize stress tolerance breeding.The results indicated that the suitable density of NaCl is 300 mmol/L.According to the seedling appearance,twenty-three transgenic maize lines had improved their salt tolerance ability by one-level compare to acceptors.An evaluation method of physiology and biochemistry indexes was created to showthe differentiation of salt tolerance ability between transgenic maize line and it's acceptor.The salt tolerance ability of three lines had been improved there level compare to acceptors.
