Influence of Different Mechanisms and Models on Numerical Simulation Results of Gas Turbine Combustors

Five typical mechanisms,used for numerical simulation of NO_x emission from methane combustion,were analyzed and compared,with focus on simulation features of the detailed,quasi-steady simplified and empirical three categories of mechanisms.Using models based on these mechanisms,turbulent combustion of gas turbine combustors were also simulated.By verifying simulation models with existing experimental results,influence of model parameters and pressure etc.on temperature and NO_x emission is analyzed.Results show that the simulation results agree well with that of the experiments,indicating that the calculation efficiency and accuracy may be raised by adopting reasonable chemical reaction,turbulent and combustion models.
