The invention discloses a multi-sound-path parallel synchronous flow measurement ultrasonic flowmeter and a flow measuring method. A driving signal is simultaneously transmitted to transmitting transducers of all sound paths at the same moment, ultrasonic echo signals of the receiving transducers of all sound paths are received and detected, thus the forward (the same as the flowing direction) and reverse (opposite to the flowing direction) propagation time of ultrasonic waves of each sound path in fluid is measured, the time interval of flow rate measurement of each sound path can be greatly reduced, the flow measurement of the entire section can more really reflect actual flow, the problems that the time interval of flow rate measurement of each sound path by the traditional multi-sound-path ultrasonic flowmeter is too long and the flow measurement error is greater are solved, and the flowmeter and the method are particularly applicable to flow measurement under working conditions of greater flow rate change.
