Elementos para la generación de competiividad y crecimiento en la provincia de El Oro

In the present investigation, a review is made of several successful economic models worldwide considering its territorial context and the mechanisms used to promote competitiveness, this review has been made considering scientific articles that belong to well-positioned journals in this area. This is done in order to make a well-founded analysis of the different models studied that have been adopted by different countries, of which a great variety of social and economic achievements stand out, in addition to the factors that make possible its excellent performance and the strategies used. According to this information, we intend to develop a competitiveness model that promotes growth and further development within our country, specifically in the province of El Oro, by recounting Porter's competitiveness model, enhancing and highlighting its main productive factors such as they are its maritime port, the export of products, tourism, among others.
