Clinical analysis of laparoscopic myomectomy:a report of 48 cases

Objective:To investigate the surgical techniques,indications,surgical skills and clinical efficacy of laparoscopic myomectomy.Methods:The clinical data of 48 patients of hysteromyoma who underwent laparoscopic myomectomy from Jan.to Dec.2011 were analyzed retrospectively.There were 7 cases of multiple myoma,1 case of subserous myoma,1 case of broad ligament myoma,39 cases of intramural myoma(13 cases of multiple myoma,10 cases of single myoma in front wall and 16 cases of single myoma in posterior wall).Results:All 48 cases were operated successfully.The average blood loss was(62±37) ml,and average operative time was(102±29) min,the postoperative hospital stay was 4-7 d.Conclusions:If mastering the operation indications correctly,laparoscopic myomectomy is a safe and effective procedure with shorter hospital stay and fewer complications.
