Dosimetry Chain for the Dogs Irradiated in the Epithermal Neutron Beam at the Finnish BNCT Facility

In any radiotherapy the physical dose must have a metrologically traceable link to the national and international dosimetry standards. In addition, the uncertainty of the dose delivered to the patient has to be low enough for estimating the effects of the treatment beforehand and analyze then afterwards. Accurately characterized spectrum, fluence and dose distributions in a phantom form the basis for a reliable dose delivery to a patient and is essential also for biological studies at the BNCT beam.
