The HD speed dome camera comprises an HD camera, a speed dome camera main MCU (Micro Controller Unit), an enclosure, a demisting module, an environment monitoring module and a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) video analyzing module, wherein the environment monitoring module is used for analyzing temperature and humidity data nearby the inner wall of a transparent enclosure of a speed dome camera, judging whether the current environment reaches a misting condition or not according to a temperature and humidity curve, noticing the speed dome camera main MCU to control the opening and the closing of a demisting function when in need of demisting and judging whether a heater needs to be opened or not for increasing the demisting effect according to the current temperature; guarantee can be still supplied for the environment monitoring module by the DSP video analyzing module when the environment monitoring module is subjected to error judging; and the DSP video analyzing module is always used for analyzing a current HD video, judging whether the current HD video is misted or not through an algorithm and noticing the speed dome camera whether the demisting function can be opened or not. In such a way, an intelligent demisting function of the HD speed dome camera can be realized, the demisting operation can be automatically carried out by the HD speed dome camera, and the service life of the HD speed dome camera is prolonged.
