Electrical Transport Property and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Research of a Perovskite Manganite

Unique electrical transport properties of double metal-insulator transitions were found in perovskite manganite La0.6Pr0.1Ba0.3MnO3 prepared using the sol-gel method. The relevant electron paramagnetic resonance characteristics were investigated. The ferromagnetic and paramagnetic phase transition temperatures were determined by the magnetisation vs temperature M-T curves. The unique electrical transport properties originated from the coexistence of metal and insulator, ferromagnetic, and paramagnetic components in a given temperature range.
