Efects of Futaibao(a Chinese Traditional Herb Preparation) on Biological Activity of Vascular Endothelial CelLines Derived from Mouse Skin

In order to study the mechanism of Futaibao (a Chinese traditional herbpreparation composed of Radix Salviae miltiorrhizae,Radix arnebiae euchroma,Radix notoginseng and Tripterygium wilfordi etc.)in the treatment of psoriasis,vascular endothelial cell lines F-2 and F-2C derived from mouse skin were used to observe the efects of Futaibao on the biological activity of endothelial cell lines.The results showed that:①Futaibao inhibited the migration and proliferation of the endothelial cells,and canalization was induced,②promoted the endothelial cells to synthesize extracelular matrix(collagenⅣ,fibronectin,and laminin),③regulated the expression of integrin,④markedly increased the activity of cadherin.The results suggest that Futaibao controls angiogenesis process through a series of mechanisms.
