Slimhole sidetrack cuts costs

In December 1996, the decision was made to drill a slimhole well from the Brent Bravo platform with a slimhole drillstring. This well would test the technology and provide a direct comparison with two slimhole coiled tubing sidetracks successfully completed on the Brent Delta platform.
