Distributed Service Function Forwarding system and method

The present invention provides a distributed service function forwarding technology to apply a corresponding service function chain to traffic classified by a plurality of SN controller instances based on a service network overlay structure, thereby configuring and controlling one network service dynamically by selectively combining and executing necessary network functions (SFs) in accordance with traffic and a path made up of defined component services. A distributed service function forwarding system includes an SN controller instance, and an infrastructure controller.
