Prevalence of Allergic Diseases in Children, Adults, and Elderly

2016
Allergic diseases affect individuals of all ages from infancy to old age. The incidence and prevalence of the specific disease, however, change as the allergic individual marches toward the late adulthood. This chapter briefly reviews prevalence of allergic rhinitis, respiratory allergy/allergic asthma, food allergy, and atopic dermatitis.
