Statistical Resampling Plans

1998
Abstract : Statistical resampling plans can be thought of as procedures for "recycling data." They commonly involve computer-intensive methods for the interrogation of data through repeated inspection. The procedures detailed in this document free the data analyst from two major restrictions underlying much of the development in mathematical statistics: the normal or Gaussian assumption, and the necessity to focus on statistics that are in closed form and mathematically tractable.
