Effect of TiO_2 content on PET chip crystallization

TiO2 particulate as delustrant is existed in the amorphous region of PET and it has significance influence on PET crystallization .During the PET chip cooling crystallization ,adsorption and steric hindrance of TiO2 particulate has hindrance effect on the crystallization.During the PET melt crystallization ,as crystalnucleus, TiO2 particulate has promotion effect on crystallization.The DSC parameters show that the glass transition temperature tg,cooling crystallization peak temperature tc and melt crystallization peak temperature tmc will decreased with the decreasing of TiO2 content.
