Recent Progress of Fiber Technology and Applications — the Creation of New Values -

The recent progress of fiber technology and applications is reviewed in terms of new value concept of Shingosen (New Synthetic Fibers) in Japan. Future directions of specialty products of functional fibers are discussed in terms of sensitivity and new values.
