Study on the mechanism of transportation of glycerol through membrane channel driven by periodic external force

By using Fokker-Planck equation,it was investigated the unidirectional transportation of glycerol through GlpF driven by periodic external force.According to the profile of the PMF,the GlpF was divided into 14 regions.Effects of these regions on the glycerol transportation were studied.The theoretical results indicated that the middle region of the GlpF played a key role in glycerol transportation.
