Embarazo adolescente y morbilidad neonatal: Hospital Materno Provincial de Córdoba julio de 2005 a junio de 2006

Determinar asociacion entre madres adolescentes y morbilidad neonatal, en el Hospital Materno Provincial de Cordoba. Julio de 2005 a junio de 2006. Objetivos Especificos:1) Objetivar asociacion entre edad materna y prematurez. 2) Conocer asociacion entre edad materna y restriccion del crecimiento intrauterino, con su manifestacion postnatal como pequeno para la edad gestacional. 3) Identificar causas de internacion del hijo de madre adolescente. 4) Asociar edad materna y Apgar bajo del recien nacido al primer minuto de vida. Material y Metodo: Para esta investigacion la poblacion a investigar estuvo constituida, por la totalidad de las embarazadas adolescentes que concurrieron a dar a luz al Hospital Materno Provincial “Dr. Raul Felipe Lucini”; entre el primero de julio de 2005 al 30 de junio de 2006.La muestra se selecciono en forma aleatoria simple, el criterio de inclusion estuvo dado por la edad materna (10 a 19 anos) y por la fecha del parto. El numero de las mismas fue de 1.123.Tipo de investigacion: Esta es una investigacion de tipo descriptiva, retrospectiva y longitudinal. El protocolo fue aprobado por Capacitacion y Docencia del Hospital Materno Provincial. Tecnica e instrumento de recoleccion de datos: Los datos fueron tomados de la hoja de recepcion del recien nacido que se encuentra en las historias clinicas, realizandose el correspondiente analisis documental de las variables. Se utilizo como instrumento una matriz de recoleccion de datos (ver Anexo), y los mismos fueron recolectados en el programa de office Excel (Microsoft WA), para luego ser analizados en este y otros programas estadisticos (SPSS; JMP, NY). Conclusiones: Existe una asociacion significativa entre menor edad materna y recien nacido prematuro. No se encontro asociacion entre edad materna y retardo del crecimiento intrauterino y su manifestacion postnatal como pequeno para la edad gestacional. Specific purposes: 1- To objectify the relationship between mother age and premature newborn.2- To know the relationship between the age of the mother and lack of intrauterine growth and the following post natal “small” characteristic for the gestational age.3- To identify reasons for admission of children whose mothers are adolescents. 4- To associate mother age and APGAR of the newborn during the first minute after delivery. Method and Materials: The whole of pregnant adolescents who arrive to give birth at the Hospital Materno Provincial Dr. Raul Felipe Lucini, was taken into account for this study; from July 2005 up to June 30th, 2006. The sample was taken at random, the selection was done considering the age of the mother (10 to 19 years old) and date of delivery. They were 1123 women .Kind of research: This was a descriptive, restrospective and lineal research. The protocol was accepted by the Teaching and Training area of the hospital. Technique procedure in data collection: Data was taken from the information given in the case histories with corresponding filed results of variables. A data collection instrument was used (see appendix) and the results were stated in an Office Excel program (Microsoft WA) and the analyzed and others statistic programs (JMP, SPSS). Conclusion:There is a significant relationship between younger mother and premature newborn, there is no relationship between younger mother and the delay in intrauterine growth and the consequent postnatal low birth weight result...(AU)
