Hydraulic cylinder control system and control method for a direct drive servo pump controlling electro-hydraulic hybrid drive, the control system includes a servo motor drive module, the pump controlling cylinder block and the auxiliary oil passage module, controlled by a servo drive servo motor drives the bidirectional pump produces hydraulic energy, bidirectional pump is connected to two oil hydraulic cylinder rod chamber and rod chamber, the tank has a fill oil chamber and the rod when the rod chamber and the drain flow imbalance, a negative shift control hydraulic servomotors the direction of movement of the piston rod of the cylinder. The present invention can effectively solve the problem of traffic asymmetry control hydraulic pump control system, to reduce the pressure loss and the amount of oil circulating oil flow generated by the system, the entire system is compact, easy integration, and greatly reduces the conventional electro-hydraulic servo system due to differential pressure flow characteristics of the servo valve or proportional valve caused by the pressure loss and fever.
