Facile preparation of one-dimensional nanostructures through polymerization-induced self-assembly mediated by host–guest interaction

Herein, a RAFT aqueous dispersion polymerization of ferrocenylmethyl acrylate (FCA) mediated by host–guest interaction between a ferrocene moiety and methylated β-cyclodextrin was investigated. A series of peculiar one-dimensional morphologies can be readily obtained.
