Whole Process Tracking of Buckling Path of Single Layer Schwedler Spherical Latticed Shells

The anaysis of single layer Schwedler apherical latticed shells has been carried out based on ANSYS finite element program in the paper.With arc-length method for geometric nonlinearity calculation,the post buckling equibrium path is tracked and the shell stability modes and the ultimate stability capacity are seeked out.The effects of asymmetric load on ultimate bearing capacity and stability of single layer shells are analyzed.The results show arc-length method for nonlinear analysis of reticulated shell structure is the overall effective method,which can effectively trace the instability process curves and the ultimate stability capacity.When the asymmetric load proportion is larger,the shell stability is very sensitive,playing a dominant role in asymmetric load in design.
