Process for the preparation of polycrystalline and single crystal of zinc oxide (ZnO) on a seed sublimation Activated high temperature chemically

2008
A process for preparing polycrystalline or single-crystal zinc oxide ZnO on a seed placed in a chamber under a controlled atmosphere, by sublimation of a zinc oxide source in a crucible placed within the chamber and spaced from the germ , formation of gaseous species, transport of gaseous species, condensation of gaseous species on the seed, recombination ZnO surface of the seed, growth of the polycrystalline or monocrystalline ZnO on the seed, and cooling of the polycrystalline or monocrystalline ZnO, wherein the source zinc oxide is heated by induction to a temperature called sublimation temperature of 1200 to 1500 degrees C under a pressure of 10 atmosphere at 1 atmosphere.
