The present invention addresses the issue of providing a novel non-natural pharmaceutical compound having a different mechanism of action to a statin-based pharmaceutical product and having a selective inhibitory activity on ACAT2. The present invention pertains to a compound indicated by formula (I), a salt thereof, or a solvate of same.
