Parameters of the migma IVb experiment and physical quantities to be measured

1988
Abstract By upgrading the equipment used in the Migma IV experiment, migma density could be increased to 10 11 ions/cm 3 to test migma stability in a high density electrostatic regime with frsol | ω pi / ω ci = 3. We will measure ion and electron density profiles, ion and electron temperature profiles, and ambipolar potential profiles, all as function of r and z . Also, electron oscilaltions, change of migma radius with density, bremsstrahlung spectrum, migma formation mechanism, migma diamagnetism, energy confinement times, descriptions of diagnostics, and physical parameters are presented.
