Covid19 pandemic; A practicing head and neck surgeon's perspective of an institutional model.

: •Surgery for Mucosal Head and neck Cancers needs special consideration as they are AGP, placing the OT staff at a major risk.•Nevertheless all such procedures are considered semi emergencies and they cannot be postponed indefinitely.•Support Machinery of the Government and the co-operation of the people are the key factors favouring best practice of head and neck cancer surgery amidst the current COVID 19 crisis.•Waiting for atleast a period of 2 weeks would a prudent solution to rule out coexistence of COVID 19 infection in low risk cases without any symptoms.
