Observations on a yeastlike budding organism from human ulcers
1969
A yeastlike budding organism was isolated several times over a two year period from an ulcer on the foot and one on the thigh. Direct examination showed many globose structures, some with 1 bud of about 4μ in diameter. It grew in Sabouraud's glucose peptone agar but did not produce visible colonies. Most of the cells were mono-budding and were on average 3–4·5μ in diameter.
