Effect of Met-enkephalin on the responses of rat fundus and colon and chick rectum to PGE2 and its release from rat aortic strip

1980
Summary Met-enkephalin in doses of 30 ng/ml and 45 ng/ml inhibited the release of PGE 2 — like material from rat aortic strip. It also inhibited the PGE 2 responses in chick rectum, while potentiating its contractions in rat colon. However, it did not affect the responses of PGE 2 on rat fundus.
