The Relationship between Employment Pressure, Romantic Relationship Satisfaction and Suicidal Ideation of Chinese Students Studying in China and Thailand

This study was conducted to investigate whether there are differences in suicidal ideation between Chinese college students studying in Thailand and in China, and to investigate the relationship between employment pressure and romantic relationship satisfaction with suicidal ideation among Chinese college students studying in Thailand and in China. The sample consisted of 1090 respondents of whom 420 (38.5%) were males and 670 (61.5%) were females, 507 (46.6%) respondents reported that they were studying in universities in China, while 581 (53.4%) reported that they were studying in universities in Thailand.
