Regulatory activities in the Asia-Pacific area

Wireless communications are rapidly penetrating into the Asia-Pacific area as well as other areas in the world. In most countries in Asia the positive aspects of wireless communications have far outweighed any negative impacts such as concern about the health consequences of exposure to electromagnetic fields radiated by wireless communication systems. As such there has been little pressure on governments to intentionally control human exposure to electromagnetic waves.
