Политика России в условиях современной информационной войны

Waged against Russia, its political leadership and President of the Russian Federation information war is an acute problem, which acquires in our days of fundamental importance. The author, understanding the approaches to the defiition of the information warfares, giving detail and specifi examples of it’s tricks and methods, proposes not defensive (as it was until recently), but offensive measures, which will enable our country to survive in conditions of severe informational pressure and blackmail. Since the information warfares do not fall under the norms of international law, this is actively used by those who unleashes them. Russia should initiate a broad public debate involving legislators, experts, representatives of the scientifi community about the need for legal protection against such wars. Helping to consolidate in international law clearly defied legal defiitions and standards is one of the principles of an asymmetric response. In addition, the author proposes a system of measures for the improvement of Russia’s policy in order to counteract information security threats. Overall, from the author’s point of view, Russia should move from defensive to offensive tactics. But imprisoning the edge information weapons and doing accurate information strikes to weak points of the enemy, the state should use fist-hand information and objective facts. This will strengthen our image and give a chance not to be defeated in the information war.
