PENGARUH METODE MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS V SD NEGERI DI DESA KALIBUKBUK

This study was intended to know the different between science learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri in Kalibukbuk village, who were taught by using Mind Mapping method and those who were taught by using conventional learning method. This study was in form of quasi eksperiment and post-test only control group designwas used as research design. The population of this study was all of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri in Kalibukbuk village which consist of 127 students. The sample of this study was all of the fifth grade students at SD Negeri 4 Kalibukbuk and SD Negeri 2 Kalibukbuk. The number of the sample was 67 students which were selected through random sampling technique. The data were collected by using test method. Multiple choices test was used as an instrument. The data obtained was analyzed through descriptive statistics analysis and inferential statistics analysis. The result of the study found that there was a significant difference on science learning outcomes between the students who were taught by using Mind Mapping method than those who were taught by using conventional learning method of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri in Kalibukbuk village. It can be seen from the result of the t-test analysis, whereas tobserved > ttable (tobserved = 6.48 > ttable = 1.997).
