Synthesis and Chemical Transformations of β-(3,5-DI-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic Hydrazide

A method for synthesis of β-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic hydrazide. Certain chemical properties of the product were studied. It was found that β-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) β-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)hydrazide is highly susceptible to oxidation.
