STATUS OF THE DEVIGLOPNWT PROGRAMME FOR INSTRUMENTATION AND TEST TECHNIQUES OF THE EUROPEAN TRANSONIC UIMIl"NEL - ETW

The ETW GmbH was set up in Koln, Germany after the four participating governments of France, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands had signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the construction and operation of the European Transonic Windtunnel in April 1988. The construction phase has recently started and the facility will be commissioned in 1993 and calibrated by mid 1994 During the functional design phase of ETW (198688) instrumentation and test techniques for application in cryogenic wind tunnel operation were investigated during several feasibility studies.
