It was shown that the treatment of experimental minks with stable aqueous dispersion of shungite carbon nanoparticles has caused some changes in the generation and quenching of ROS and activity of digestive enzymes. Further studies are planned to clarify the biocompatibility of nanocarbon shungite with the animal organism, as well as methods of administration.
