EDUCATIONAL MANIFESTATIONS OF DEMOGRAPHIC PARAMETERS IN TURKEY'S POPULATION The world’s population has been unprecedentedly increasing over the last 20 years, which has happened so fast that relevant fields and institutions have been expected to adapt to the resultant changes at the same speed. Among these prominent fields is education because it is potentially both the cause and result of demographic changes. Thus, the interplay between education and demographic changes and transitions should be studied. The present study intended to investigate the educational manifestations of populational changes and transitions in Turkey. For this reason, it analyzed the quantitative changes in the cohort of the individuals aged 0-14 years to make several suggestions concerning such parameters as schooling, curriculum development, teacher training, and resource exploitation. To this end, the authors availed of the statistics, tables, figures, and reports by Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkish Presidency of Strategy and Budget, United Nations, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. The analyses revealed an increase in the population of the individuals of 0-14 years up to 2023 and an abrupt decrease thereafter. In this sense, the authors presented six scenarios of future education from Schooling for Tomorrow as projected by OECD and made several suggestions in view of the data made available by the Turkish Presidency of Strategy and Budget for the Turkish educational system to be able to adapt to the populational changes and educational scenarios. Bu artis o kadar hizli gerceklesmistir ki ilgili alan ve kurumlarin soz konusu degisimlere ayni hizda uyum saglamalari beklenmektedir. Egitim, bu alanlarin en onemlilerinden biridir cunku egitim hem nufusta gerceklesen degisim ve donusumlere yol acma potansiyeli olan hem de bu degisim ve donusumlerden etkilenen bir unsurdur. Bu nedenle nufus degisim ve donusumleri ile egitim arasindaki iliski egitimin gelecegi icin irdelenmelidir. Bu calismanin amaci Turkiye’deki nufus degisim ve donusumunun egitime yansimalarini incelemektir.  Bunun icin calismada, 0-14 yas grubuna ait nufus sayisi ve oranlarinda meydana gelen degisimler incelemis ve bu verilerden yola cikarak okullasma, mufredat gelistirme, ogretmen yetistirme, kaynak kullanimi parametrelerine iliskin onerilerde bulunulmustur. Bu amac dogrultusunda Turkiye Istatistik Kurumu (TUIK), TC. Cumhurbaskanligi Strateji ve Butce Baskanligi (SBB), Birlesmis Milletler (UN) ve Ekonomik Kalkinma ve Is birligi Orgutu’nden (OECD), Birlesmis Milletler Egitim Bilim ve Kultur Orgutu (UNESCO)’dan elde edilen veri, tablo, grafikler ve raporlar dokuman inceleme yontemi ile cozumlenmistir. Cozumleme sonucunda dunya ve Turkiye genelinde 2023 yilina kadar 0-14 yas grubu nufusunun artacagi ve bu yil sonrasinda aniden dusecegi gorulmustur. Bu bulgularla ilgili OECD’nin Gelecekte Okullasma raporundan alti gelecek okul senaryosu sunulmus ve TC. Cumhurbaskanligi Strateji ve Butce Baskanligi’nin On Birinci Kalkinma Plani (2019-2023) kararlarindan yola cikarak Turkiye egitim sisteminin bu degisim ve senaryolara uyum saglayabilmesi icin onerilerde bulunulmustur.
