Three-dimensional imaging with arrays of geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes

We report 32x32 focal plane arrays comprising silicon Geiger-mode single-photon-sensitive photodiodes integrated with high-speed CMOS digital timing circuitry, and present three-dimensional imagery obtained from flash laser radar systems using these focal planes.
