LA PREVENCIÓN DE LA EXPLOTACIÓN SEXUAL COMERCIAL INFANTIL: UN COMPROMISO DE TODOS* * * * * PREVENTING THE COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN: A COMMITMENT OF EVERYONE

The commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), regarded as one of the worst forms of child and teen slavery, has turned into one of the main concerns of the social and governmental entities in our country, since it is a growing problem that hinders the safe development of girls and boys. By virtue of this, the research group CRECER, from the Psychology Program of Universidad Surcolombiana, has fulfilled the following research purposes: (1) to conduct two studies about CSEC in the province of Huila and (2) to implement a prevention proposal of CSEC in the educational and community (teachers, students, community mothers, parents) sectors of Neiva, whose results are presented in this paper.
