The invention discloses a chain tensioning system of a scraper conveyer, which comprises a telescopic jack, an electro-hydraulic control reversing valve, at least two pressure sensors, a travel sensor, an on-off transducer, a controller and a power supply, wherein the cylinder body of the telescopic jack is fixedly arranged on the machine body of the scraper conveyer, the oil cylinder rod of the telescopic jack is fixedly connected with a machine head or a machine tail, one end of the electro-hydraulic control reversing valve is connected with the liquid inlet cylinder of the telescopic jack, and the other end of the electro-hydraulic control reversing valve is connected with a hydraulic liquid supply system of a working surface; the pressure sensors are arranged on the electro-hydraulic control reversing valve; the travel sensor is arranged on the oil cylinder rod of the telescopic jack; the on-off transducer is connected with the scraper conveyer; the controller is connected with the pressure sensors, the travel sensor, the on-off transducer and the telescopic jack; and the power supply is connected with the controller.
