간헐적 식이조절이 신체구성과 체력에 미치는 영향

2014
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 8week intermittent energy restriction on body composition and physical fitness. 60 young college students(38male and 22female) were participated in this study and were randomly assigned to control, 24ICR(24hours fasting and 48hours energy intake), or 16ICR(16hours fasting and 8hours energy intake). The participants were measured height, weight, waist to hip ratio(WHR), % of body fat and physical fitness(cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility). In addition, they recorded three day dietary in pre, 4week and 8week. There were significantly different weight, BMI, WHR, % of fat in 24ICR and 16ICR between pre and post measurements. However, there were no different VO₂ max, muscular strength and endurance in all three groups between pre and post. The amount of energy intake in post was significant difference in 24ICR and 16ICR as compared with pre energy intake. In conclusion, 16ICR may be as effective as 24ICR and be considered a new way for intermittent energy restriction.
