The invention discloses a method for preparing a pleurotus eryngii cultivation medium by using lentinula edodes residues and belongs to the technical field of edible mushroom cultivation. The cultivation medium comprises the following ingredients in percentage by weight: 50 percent of the lentinula edodes residues, 30 percent of cottonseed hulls, 18 percent of bran, 2 percent of gypsum powder and water which are uniformly mixed and stirred, wherein the weight ratio of all the ingredients to the water is 1:1.2. The pleurotus eryngii (pleurotus nebrodensis) cultivation medium is obtained by putting the mixed compost into an edible mushroom cultivation bag for normal-pressure sterilization for 24 hours. According to the method, the lentinula edodes residues are used as the pleurotus eryngii (pleurotus nebrodensis) cultivation medium, so that the source of the raw material is expanded, the cost is reduced, and most importantly, the utilization value of the lentinula edodes residues is increased; a new way is supplied to the sustainable development of the pleurotus eryngii (pleurotus nebrodensis).
